Quick correction on month for free fishing and free national parks
Oops -- gotta love being human!
In my original blog post about Valentines weekend events, I mistakenly wrote that the free fishing weekend in Michigan and the free day in national parks would be in January. Otherwise, the dates were correct.
So free fishing in Michigan will be Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 14-15. And the free day in national parks will indeed be on Presidents Day: Monday, Feb. 16.
That information has since been corrected in the original post.
January must have left its frozen grip on me. Onward, February! I love today’s sunshine.
